As it turns out, I’m terrible at giving myself time to write. There are many things I’d like to write about - game jams, workshops, meetups, tech and tools, thoughts on game development and animation, and even music. I’ve learned that if I aim smaller in scope, there is a much greater chance I’ll find time to actually fit it in my schedule. Managing that, I can turn writing into a consistent habit.

Recently I’ve read a few more blogs and thought about writing again. I’ve learned a very valuable lesson about more concise posts or articles.

I actually read short blog posts.

So now I’ll write them too!

My goal is to eventually build up to something like the beautifully concise and productive Rico Sta. Cruz’s “Today I Learned” web development blog, [which you should read too](http:// https://ricostacruz.com/til/) if web dev is your thing.

I would be delighted to create something even half as useful. Let’s see how it goes.
